Problem
The Aid & Attendance application is very long and complicated.
Solution
By working with our team, we will assist filling out and collecting the necessary forms. A VA accredited agent will then review the application. We have a 100% approval rate by the VA.
During the 3-6 month review process, clients are expected to cover the costs of home care.
Patriot alleviates this financial pressure by paying the home care invoices during this review time. This allows the client to start care sooner. Once approved, the VA will back pay and the client can reimburse Patriot. There are no out-of-pocket expenses.
It is extremely difficult to find out if additional information is needed during the VA review process.
Patriot regularly calls the VA during the review process. We will be able to receive updates faster and gather the additional information for the application to be approved.
It is fairly easy to lose Aid & Attendance eligibility after the VA approves it.
Patriot will ensure ongoing eligibility for Aid & Attendance for as long as the client needs it. In fact, we usually can make the necessary adjustments without even having to contact the client!
